Resonate Together – it's undeniable the impact the ’90s had on the electronic music scene and sparked many new variants of the house music sound.

The UK from being one of the biggest importers of American and European house music developed its sound and creative output labelled as – Progressive House. The Progressive house genre multiplied and continued to spread worldwide to a huge global music movement.

Nigel Dawson – can rightly be described as one of the shepherds of the progressive house scene.

He was one of the original residents at the legendary – Renaissance club, Worldwide DJ player, artist and compilation album producer. The original version of the title – Lost Without you – was released in 98 under the artist Monika of Dominion. The original release had a huge impact, became a DJs favourite for several years and has continued to be referenced amongst progressive house fans. The lush and ethereal vocals of Lianne Snelson hit home with the clubbing fraternity and is still electric now.

Fast-forwarding to 2021 we have two new remixes of this classic title,

First of the mixes is by another legendary progressive outfit – in Inkfish. Inkfish have consistently produced an abundance of quality material from the mid-’90s to the present. They have released on many labels including their own – Inkfish Recordings to Azuli, Bedrock, Renaissance, Anjunadeep and also a firm DJs favourite. The Inkfish name is associated with quality and this is another shining example of their production prowess. It's an energetic mix that emphasises the original vocal well with a shiny production sound that crosses between prog and the current Melodic Techno and house genre.

The 2nd remix is by – Menkee who similarly is becoming a key figure in the progressive/melodic domain. He’s consistently producing infectious remixes and original productions that more than tick the right boxes with DJs and like-minded progressive fans. His music can already be heard on labels Pro B Tech, BC2, Balken, Mirabillis and more. His take on – Lost Without You – is very unique, deeply driven and has emotive qualities.
